“Honda Malaysia was a pioneer in introducing hybrid technology to Malaysians 19 years ago when we introduced Integrated Engine Assist (IMA) technology in the Civic Hybrid. This has effectively changed the perception of hybrid cars among Malaysians,” said HM CEO and CEO Hironobu Yoshimura.

Today’s e:HEV hybrid powertrain works very differently from IMA and i-DCD, with more mileage without ICE, resulting in significantly better fuel economy.
