Honda’s motobike will open orders for CHEAP Citizens on December 1, with the first deliveries to customers scheduled to begin in February 2023.

Exterior finishes include Championship White, Rally Red, Crystal Black, and Sonic Gray.
The Type R is built at Honda’s Yorii plant in Japan, while its K20C1 engine comes from the Anna Engine Plant in Ohio.
Power output is increased thanks to a redesigned turbocharger, increased intake air velocity and more efficient active exhaust.
With an enlarged grille, larger radiator and new large-diameter fan, Honda says the engine cools more efficiently than before, “ensuring optimal, sustainable performance during extreme driving.” .
The six-speed manual transmission has a lighter flywheel than before and a faster-acting rev-matching system. Honda says the “high stiffness gearshift lever and optimized gearshift door pattern” provide “super-accurate and safe shifting”.
Honda says it developed the Civic Type R to be the fastest front-wheel drive, front-engined car, while offering both “addictive” driving pleasure and safe stability at high speeds.
The new generation features a more rigid body structure, a longer wheelbase and wider front and rear grooves.
Honda has retuned the dual-axle strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension to improve on-road stability and handling. The front brake system has a two-piece rotor and the cooling system has been improved compared to the previous model.
The Type R rides on 19-inch matte black wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Inside, the Type R has a digital instrument cluster with a screen dedicated to the +R mode that displays information such as rpm, rev indicator and gear position in clear view of the driver. .
Honda’s LogR data logging system provides real-time information about vehicle movements through both a smartphone app and a new in-car app.
The driver sits lower than before in new, lighter sports seats with heavy cushions and suede upholstery.
While Ford Focus ST has been discontinued locally and Renault Megane RS living in borrowed time, there’s still plenty of competition for the new Type R.
This includes hyundai i30Npriced from $46,200 before on-road costs and Volkswagen Golf GTI ($54,990 before on-road) and R hatchback ($65,990 before on-road).
The Type R’s higher-end price pushes it closer to things like audi S3 ($70,800 before departure) and BMW M135i xDrive Pure ($67,900 before hitting the road).
