2022 Mini Hardtop Brick Lane Edition is inspired by London’s East End
Mini announced three special edition models in February 2022, and it doesn’t stop there. It has revealed a fourth car called Brick Lane Edition inspired by London East End offers two- and four-door variants of the hardtop Cooper WILL more refined.
Visually, the Brick Lane Edition stands out from the norm Hardtop with a metallic silver-white exterior paint, a soul Blue roof, black door mirror caps and chrome trim. The Soul Blue, Frozen Blue and Mint graphics on the hood add a finishing touch to the look and also create a connection between the vehicle and the bricks for which Brick Lane takes its name. Mini also adds 17-inch wheels painted in black, decals above the dashboard and version-specific badges on the sides. These changes are relatively minor, but they give the Mini a great look.
Leather and heated front sport seats are among the highlights in the cabin. The long list of standard features also includes a panoramic sunroof, piano black interior, dual-zone automatic climate control and a Harman-Kardon surround sound system.
You won’t find blue tiles or accents in the engine bay. Power comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine derived from the Cooper S that is supercharged to make 189 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. It turns the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, but a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is linked to a pair of paddle shifters provided for free.
