Hispanic street dog immediately adapted to a lavish life in his new home

When Mango the Galgo was found, he was wandering around a train station in Spain. The poor dog was alone and severely underweight. But after an American couple saw this handsome guy’s face, they were ready to welcome him into their family.

You would never guess what the former street dog did almost immediately upon arriving at his new home in America.

Although almost nothing is known about him, or his personality, Blake and Jane “concur”. All it takes is one look at this precious dog’s face, and they know that Mango is meant to be a member of their family.

This super sweet boy has turned from a street dog to a “domestic dog” in an American family. So his new parents aren’t sure how he’ll react after living on the streets, taking an eight-and-a-half-hour flight, and then finding himself in the house of two strangers.

But only within a five minutes When he arrived at his new home, he was crawling onto the couch, demanding to be cuddled! He was so loving and trusting as soon as he got off the plane from Spain! It doesn’t matter that they just met, Mango wants all pets.

The one-year-old boy had never seen stairs before, so for a while his mom and dad had to carry him up and down the stairs. But soon it was love, and the training he received gave him the confidence he needed to truly be who he is.

He’s even given himself the adorable new nickname, “Sparkling Toes,” for the fancy way he likes to spread his paws. (It’s almost as if he’s in “first place” forever.)

Greyhound vs Galgo

Mango is Galgo or “Spanish Greyhound.” D.despite being called the “Grey Hound”, the Spanish Galgo not a Greyhound at all. While both Greyhound and Galgo are breed dogs or hunting dogs by sight and speed, and they have similar temperaments, they are genetically different.

Perhaps the most striking difference is their size and construction. In general, Galgos are smaller than Greyhounds, but their bodies are longer. Why? Because Galgos are built for endurance, while Greyhounds are suitable for sprinting. That is why Greyhounds are often used for racing, while Galgos are often used for hunting.
