Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young among 4 Alabama players on AP team pre-season



Alabama stars Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr. was among the four players from the top-ranked Crimson Tide selected for The Associated Press team ahead of the All-American season.

Join Young, the Heisman Cup-winning quarterback, and Anderson, the star passer, as Alabama’s defensive linebacker Battle of Jordan and Eli Ricks as the selection of the first team.

The all-American pre-season AP pool presented by Regional Banks was selected by a panel of the poll’s top 25 voters and released Monday.

Alabama is running again Jahmyr Gibbs as the second team as a versatile player and defender of the Crimson Tide Emil Ekiyor Jr. is also a second team pick.

Four players on Alabama’s first team and six on two overall teams is the most for any school.

Ohio State second behind Alabama, just like in the AP Top 25, with three first-team picks and five-player overall.

Attack Paris Johnson Jr., run again TreVeyon Henderson and recipients Jaxon Smith-Njigba All were selected for the first team. CJ Stroud, who finished fourth in last year’s Heisman poll, is the team’s second quarterback. Handle Dawand Jones made the second team offensive line.
