Sunnie Brook, a celebrity hairstylist who has worked with clients including Elizabeth Moss, Ashley Park and Rita Ora, gave me the scoop on what hairstyles are trending. Brook begins: “We are seeing luxury brands expand into the hair accessories category. “Hair accessories are a quick and fun way to personalize any simple hairstyle and take it to the next level.”
According to Brook, the black leather headband, plaid fabric headband, gemstone headband, oversized bow and Y2K straightener are all hair accessories to look out for. “We will see the claw clips gradually disappear [in addition to] butterfly clips, metal hairpins, slim headbands, rhinestone lettering,” she said.
