Angela Terry said Britons need to tear down glass houses because they ‘act like an oven’ to the rest of the house.
The environmental scientist, 47, claims the move is about a ‘no regrets’ policy and protecting the planet.
But she seemed to exclude herself from the rules as she brazenly spoke from her conservatory in Wells, Somerset.
GMB presenter Susanna Reid pointed out the hypocrisy of asking why she could have one but ‘from now on no one else is allowed to have one’.
Mrs. Terry suggested that because her house had an apartment she was exempt from the new law.

I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. In essence, this is no different than climate campaigners arriving at a climate conference in a private jet, and asking ordinary people to cut back on flying. But most of them have a sense of not flaunting their hypocrisy in the middle of a televised interview.
