Attention Gran Turismo Players! The June update for Gran Turismo 7 is out today June 22 at 11 p.m. PDT* (June 23 at 7 a.m. BST / 3 p.m. JST).
Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special ’98
Returning to the series for the first time in a decade, the legendary Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special ’98 is a monster machine specially developed to compete in the most extreme conditions for any motorcycle. any racing car in conquering the dangerous hill climbing roads. The frame has a completely new design using a space aluminum frame. To maximize performance, the powertrain has been extensively revised, shifting the engine from the base model’s forward position to a feeder configuration. The fully tuned 2.5L V6 engine has been fitted with twin turbochargers allowing it to produce a maximum power of 981 BHP and a peak torque of 95 kgfm.
Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3 Edition)
This model is the realization of Suzuki’s motorsport prowess, extensively tuned to meet Gr.3 regulations. The base Suzuki VGT uses a 1,340 cm³ (1,340 cc) Hayabusa engine linked to three high-power electric motors on a four-wheel drive system. However, this version of Gr.3 has been changed to a simple front engine layout, rear-wheel drive with a twin-turbo V8 engine consisting of 2 Hayabusa engine blocks for a total capacity of 2,680 cm³ (2,680 cc). In this form, the gargantuan engine can produce up to 577 BHP at an amazingly high 10,000 rpm. Compared to the base model, the design aesthetic has been changed to increase downforce, featuring an extended front spoiler as well as the addition of front and rear diffusers, GT wings and hood air ducts- po.

In the world of custom cars, the US often leads in terms of quality, quantity, and genre. The oldest of these genres, now an iconic part of American culture, is the Hot Rod. This is a movement that dates back to the 1930s, where the Ford Model T and later the Model A and Model B were heavily modified by their owners. Major exterior changes were made on these cars such as removing the wheel arches, bonnet and cutting the bodywork to form convertibles. Later, more powerful engines were added to the cars as the technology improved over the years.
Watkins Glen International
Nicknamed “The Glen,” Watkins Glen International is a historic route found in New York State, about 260 miles northwest of New York City, opened in 1956 and surrounded by undulating hills. The first half of the track consists of high speed sections with medium to high speed corners, with the second half featuring tight, technical turns. The undulating track is also narrow, encouraging intense races. The straight line back leads to a high-speed bend, immediately followed by a right turn into an Outer Loop, which is one of the main highlights of the track. From there, the ‘Short Course’ moves on to the technical part called “Getting Started”, while the ‘Short Course’ skips this segment entirely.
