In Google’s new update, users can easily browse hotels, compare flight prices, and find new adventures to take. Here are all of Google’s new travel tools and how they can help you plan your next vacation.
Airfares
Airfare prices depend on several factors, such as the day of the week, your destination, and upcoming holidays. Some people prefer to buy flight tickets months in advance to take advantage of lower rates, while others prefer to wait until a better deal is available.
To help with this, Google Flights now has a price guarantee for flights within the United States. If a flight has a guaranteed price icon next to its price, it means that Google believes the price will stay the same until the flight takes off as scheduled.

If the price of your flight drops before you’re scheduled to depart, Google will refund you the difference via Google Pay. This feature is only available for Google Book journeys departing from the US
Browse hotels
Google can help you find the right hotel with the price, rating, and location you’re looking for. But using Google to find hotels on your phone can be a bit complicated, so Google has come up with a solution.

Instead of clicking on a hotel that interests you and being redirected to a new tab, Google will redirect you to see hotels in your desired location in a swipeable story format. And instead of seeing location details or hotel reviews in a new tab, those insights are available in a single tap. To continue to see more options, swipe up.

When you’re visiting a new city for fun, it’s paramount that you see the city’s most notable tourist attractions. On the other hand, some people are more interested in visiting the least-known attractions the city has to offer. Either way, Google offers a better way to discover your next outing.

When you search for a city’s attractions or travel agency on Google Maps or Search, prices and a link to that city’s booking site will appear on their Google listing. Plus, if you’re looking for lots of things to do, Google will suggest related attractions and experiences for you to try.
