Google releases two new free resources to help you optimize your AI reminders
To make the most of the many things available AI chatbots, you must master the art of AI prompting. However, figuring out exactly what to say to an AI chatbot to achieve the desired results can be challenging, so Google is trying to help.
The company last week unveiled a new product blog series with tips, tricks, and recommendations on how you can get the most out of Gemini for Google Workspace. While this series is intended to help working professionals navigate Google’s AI assistant in Workspace, you can apply this advice to almost any AI chatbot.

The first blog post explains what a reminder is and how important it is to use Innovative AI models as well as formulas you can use to help build reminders.
“To realize the full benefits of synthetic AI, you need to write effective reminders,” Google wrote in the blog post. But what exactly are reminders? You can think of it as a reminder to start a conversation with your AI-powered assistant.”
According to the blog post, there are four main areas users should consider when writing a prompt: personality, which refers to the person who is asking for the information; task, which is what you want the chatbot to do; context, meaning any additional information that the AI chatbot can use to perform the task; and format or how you want to structure the output.
This reminder formula can be useful for building AI reminders for ChatGPT, Co-pilotand other chatbots because it encourages you to include as many details as possible. Details are the key to achieving the best results when using AI chatbots.

If you don’t want to wait for the blog series and want to jump straight into writing effective reminders, Google has also shared “Instructions for reminders ebook 101″. The 45-page guide begins with general advice on writing effective reminders and continues to include concise examples of the roles of specific working professionals, including marketing, customer service, etc. While the ebook is also aimed at Gemini users in Google Workspace, the advice and reminders have general application across platforms.
