The Indie World Showcase has brought a lot of great titles our way, and one that really stands out for us is BYE WORLDwill launch on Switch later this month.
ISOLATION STUDIO and PM Studios, Inc. tried to make a game that seemed right to us. It has camaraderie, it has a classic pixel art aesthetic, it has the adoption of game development. Combine all of that with the fact that in-game development is underway for a questionable-looking Game Boy device. which you can play (at this point we’ll be using the GB emulator on the Switch in any way possible) and you might consider us hot enough.
The game will see you follow programmer/game designer Kanii and graphic designer/screenwriter Kumade, two indie game developers going through a creative decline. while trying to work on their second title. We don’t know for sure yet, but we’re expecting waves of stress (which is good, of course) as you’ll have to balance development time and work time – while leaving some time alone, obviously. full of nostalgia on Boy Game.
