General Motors has announced that starting in 2025, it will build Tesla charging portcalled the North American Charging Standard (NACS), into its future electric vehicles.

The news, follow Ford adopts Tesla charging standard announced a few weeks ago, will give GM EV drivers access to far more fast charging options on the road than there are today. According to GM, the Tesla Supercharger network includes 12,000 chargers today.

GM plans to incorporate Tesla Supercharger network into Ultium Charge 360 . charger network—meaning they will also be introduced in the respective mobile and vehicle apps, allowing for a much larger set of fast charging options for drivers of its electric vehicles.
