Girl bullied for being different receives a puppy with a similar rare disease

A beautiful girl named Brooklyn wants a very special puppy. Brooklyn found a dog online with paws that resembled hers. Bronx, the adorable Pittie, is waiting to be adopted. Brooklyn found him online and told her mother Tina, “I’m so happy to have someone else like me.”

Brooklyn continued, “When I watch a video about the Bronx, I love his hand, because it looks like mine.” The Bronx is living with her adoptive mother, who shared her story online. The puppy has a condition called ectrodactyly, the same condition that Brooklyn has. That is fate!

Tina and her husband drove many hours to pick up the Bronx but did not tell Brooklyn, because they wanted to surprise her. The doting parents didn’t care that it was a 24 hour round trip. They know it’s worth it! Brooklyn is so excited to be reunited with the dog of her dreams!

Brooklyn’s gift couldn’t have come at a better time! She has started kindergarten, and some children have criticized her for being different. The Bronx did wonders for her self-esteem. Seeing these two precious souls together is so sweet and inspiring!
