Many Chase credit cards earn Chase the ultimate reward and while those points are often best used for travel opportunities, you can also redeem them at Amazon. While we usually recommend saving them for travel, Amazon Having a coupon now is a great way to not only use your Chase points, but also to save on your next Amazon purchase.
Chasing credit cardholders targeted for this promotion can save 50% on their Amazon purchaseUp to $15 discount when using Chase Ultimate rewards points at Amazon between now and July 15, 2022. Other Chase cardholders are being targeted for $10 on a $30 purchase, or $15 on a $50 purchase.
If you’re targeted for one of these deals, you’re in luck, because Amazon Prime Day ready (though you don’t have to wait until Official Date to use it). But not all Chase cards are targeted, so we’ve broken down each step to see if you’re eligible for the discount, and if so, show you how to apply it. Amazon order.
To get started, you must have Chase credit cards Earn Ultimate Rewards points. This includes popular credit cards like Chase Sapphire Preferred® Cardthe Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Chase Freedom Flex℠. Unfortunately, other Chase credit cards that earn points and miles associated with a specific airline or hotel are not eligible for this offer.
If you have a earning card Chase the ultimate reward points, you will need to link it to your Amazon account and sign up for the “Shop with Points” payment option. You can click this link to add your card to “Shop with Points”, or find it in the “Your Account” tab on the Amazon website.
Once your Chase card is linked, Click here to activate 50% off offer. However, keep in mind that this is a targeted promotion, so you may see another offer or a message stating you are not eligible. Unfortunately, items sold by third-party sellers are not eligible for this discount, but while Amazon gift cards are also excluded, you can purchase many other retailer gift cards – such as Best buy and Pure food – and get a discount.
With the 50% off offer, you’ll get a discount on all the purchases you make until you reach the maximum savings of $15. However, with $10 off $30 or $15 off $50 deals, you’ll need to have at least $30 or $50, respectively, in qualifying purchases in Amazon shopping cart for discount appears.
After your purchase in Amazon shopping cart, one more step to get the discount applied to your order. During checkout, you need to select the associated Chase card as your payment method, then use at least 1 point to pay for your purchase. After doing so, you’ll see the discount show up in your total payment on the right side of the screen.
When paying with Ultimate Rewards Points at Amazon, 1 point is equal to 0.8 cents, which is not a great value. But you only have to use 1 point at Amazon for this sale to get started, and the rest of your total can then be paid with your Chase credit card.
Be careful, though, because many times Amazon will automatically apply the full score to your order, so you’ll want to change it manually to just 1 point. To do this, enter $0.01 in the points section, which will only apply 1 point to your payout. Of course, you can apply any score you want, but you’ll get more value for your score by using them to go down the line.
