Elton John shares Britney Spears collaborates with Hold Me Closer in ‘sneaky’ DJ footage | News about Ant-Man & Art

Sir Elton John has teased his upcoming collaboration with Britney Spears with a “sneaky” video clip of a DJ playing the track.

The new song Hold Me Closer by the stars will be released this weekend and mark Spear‘returning to making music is much-awaited.

In footage shared on social media, Sir Elton75, can be seen introducing and singing along to part of the song in the live DJ booth at La Guerite beach restaurant, in Cannes, France.

Dressed in a brightly patterned shirt and shorts, the star was said to be standing in front of the crowd – who were then seen cheering and filming the performance on their mobile phones – and shouted Spears’ name.

Hold Me Closer features lines from Sir Elton’s 1972 single Tiny Dancer. After thanking the audience, he told them it would premiere on Friday.

In a short follow-up clip posted on Wednesday, the singer shared an official excerpt of the track.

This is the second time this year that he has surprised fans at the Cannes restaurant, after performing his collaboration song Cold Heart, with British star Dua Lipa, there in August 2021.

In July, the judge presiding over the case, Brenda Penny, ordered the removal of Jamie Spears and faced questions over allegations of surveillance of the singer at his home.

The judge rejected his request for the pop star to return to court to face further questioning, in order to protect her from “unwarranted discomfort, shame or oppression”.

Jamie Spears’ attorney told the court at a hearing that his client would eventually be “vindicated” and that he “did nothing wrong”.

Spear married partner Sam Asghari28 years old, at their home in Los Angeles in June, in a small ceremony attended by celebrity guests including Madonna and Selena Gomez.

In early August, her first husband Jason Alexander – whom she married in Las Vegas in 2004 before the marriage was annulled just 55 hours later – had was found guilty of trespassing after appearing uninvited at her home on her wedding day.

The singer has two children Sean and Jayden with her second husband Kevin Federline.
