Full A Ripple in Time Short Pokemon Starring Pikachu and Celebi First Released
The short “A Ripple in Time” starring Ash, Pikachu, and Celebi is now available on The Pokemon Company’s Japanese YouTube account. This is part of a series cooperation middle Pokemon franchises and contemporary artists Daniel Arshem. Kunihiko Yuyama, who served as the CEO for Pokemon animated series and some of its films, directed by short. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
“A Ripple in Time” is about six minutes long and has English subtitles. It begins with Ash and Pikachu fighting a Cubone. During the battle, Pikachu’s Thunderbolt accidentally hits a terrifying Celebi. Celebi then uses her powers to transport Ash and Pikachu to the far future of the Pokemon world. Together they explore a world where human civilization has ended, with rotting Pokemon statues and overgrown flora.

In addition to “One Ripple in Time”, Pokemon x Daniel Arsham collaboration will present fictitious archaeological finds. The real-life statues (made of materials such as quartz crystals and copper) are very similar to the ones that Ash and Pikachu came across briefly.
The Pokemon “A Ripple in Time” exhibition starts in February 2022, with a total of five locations in Tokyo, Japan.
