Forza Horizon 5 patch fixes convoy and Horizon Arcade bugs

Despite being a big fan of Forza Horizon 4 and having played it three times, I haven’t dig deep into it yet Forza Horizon 5. I’m enjoying the experience of still having it to play with, like keeping a large chocolate bar on a high shelf in case of an emergency.

When I decide to beat Mexico, I’ll get a better experience for waiting. Playground Games’ second patch for the game came out this week, bringing a ton of bug fixes.

The most important fixes come to Convoys and Horizon Arcade. The convoys are what they sound like: small groups of players working together to navigate the open world to perform multiplayer hectics. The latest patch includes fixes where convoy members could disappear, where convoy persuasion could “result in infinite loading”, as well as some UI tweaks.

Horizon Arcade meanwhile offers open world events for cooperative players to complete. The patch changes how scoring works during the event, so scores are now scaled based on the number of participants. There are also plenty of fixes, including an issue where different convoy members saw different Horizon Arcade totals.

There are also dozens and dozens of other fixes, including compatibility with wheels, confusing messages about video memory and PC drivers, etc. You can find all the recordings December 3 patch on the Horizon page, or read the full list below.

Stable game

  • Various stability fixes

  • The convoy icon on the Player Labels in the map has been updated to make it easier to read
  • Horizon Arcade – Target Points are now scaled based on number of participants
  • Horizon Arcade – Fixed an issue where convoy members saw different totals
  • Horizon Arcade – Prioritize players into larger groups when the event starts
  • Horizon Arcade – Increases the time that the Horizon Arcade event radius will appear on the map before it from 10 minutes
  • Horizon Arcade – Completion requirement adjusted for some Horizon Arcade events
  • Horizon Arcade – Fixed an issue where finding Barn Find during the Horizon Arcade event could put the player in a bad game state
  • Horizon Arcade – Fixed an issue where the Horizon Arcade Mini Missions HUD was not visible to the player when the next mission started

  • Fixed an issue where times from Blueprint events could be misposted to the leaderboard for the race at that location
  • Fixed an issue where players could post to Rivals and PR Stunt leaderboards when using modified game speed settings

  • Fixed an issue where Pause Menu could show two tabs at once when changing focus from the game and unpausing with the controller

  • Fixed an issue where some completed Associations could reset to unfinished
  • Fixed an issue with Accolades where taking pictures of statues in the El Camino story would not unlock
  • Fixed an issue where Accolade for truncating in the last chapter of the Lucha De Carreteras story would not unlock
  • Fixed “Growing up in the desert” bug that didn’t require the player to be in the specified vehicle
  • Fixed the “Unlimited Power” description to say Unlimited Terrain instead of Harsh Terrain
  • Fixed “Ready, Set, Go!” unlock if player lose the race
  • Removed some Prizes that could become incomplete, requiring the player to complete a PR Campaign on a specific car
