Reacting to the news of his chivalry, Labour’s shadow education secretary Bridget Phillipson said: “Gavin Williamson let the kids go hungry, creating two years of total chaos in exams and failed to get laptops for kids who are having difficulty learning during the lockdown. His record is astounding and shameful.”
