The Jalopnik IndyCar Fantasy League had some technical difficulties. Here’s how we’re fixing it
If you have registered to participate Jalopnik IndyCar Fantasy League, chances are you ran into some technical difficulty on Sunday right before the race started. Some have struggled to get picks at the right time, which means we have quite a few people starting the Tournament on the back foot. But don’t worry – we’ll fix that for you.
To keep things fair for everyone, we will Discount results for St. Pete. Everyone’s going to start their next race at Texas Motor Speedway with a new concept and we’re going to build from there.
However, if the St. Your Pete leads to you winning the overall tournament championship or standing on the podium and discounting those results means you lose the championship, we’ll make sure you get the gift card gift or discount code for the online IndyCar merchandise store. We want to make sure everything is fair for everyone involved.
I would like to offer my deepest apologies if you were one of those people who couldn’t pick the right timing of your choice – or entered the tournament on Sunday and didn’t receive an invite. The Fantasy website IndyCar had some problems with the servers, the server was overloaded about two hours before the race. I couldn’t send out any last minute invites and people couldn’t exercise their selection for the race because the website wasn’t loading. It’s annoying, but that’s the nature of the Internet. We’re trying our best to make everything right for you.
All that being said, however, we are expanding subscriptions through this Friday, March 4 because we’re basically starting over before the next race at Texas Motor Speedway on March 20th.
You can register this. And you can come back and see the list of prizes this.
