Leading a Super Bowl ad yesterday about “early electrification,” Ram showed off its production version Electric truck 1500 REVemphasizes that it has nothing in common with the design revolution that the brand’s recent Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept showcased.
According to a report summarizing sales in California, Tesla has 11% market share by 2022 in the Golden State, surpassing GM, Honda and others. And it’s done it with just electric vehicles and no pickups yet, as electric vehicles have grown to 17% of the California market by 2022.
ONE US Department of Energy’s $2 billion loan is believed to have the potential to help Redwood Materials’ $3.5 billion manufacturing and recycling facility in Nevada leapfrog the U.S. battery materials supply chain. The loan will help give the company, started by former Tesla CTO JB Straubel, some runway to build a sustainable process.
And a factory can produce battery cells enable Ford EV affordability reported to be set for Michigan. According to reports, the facility with CATL is expected to manufacture LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells, with official announcements likely to be announced today at a Ford event.
