Journeyman Stud . Five-Time Bet Winner Money of Mr. sired his first reported pony when a dirty fly out Quality Sugar mare Road to Riches was born on January 20.

Brent Fernung, owner of Journeyman Stud, said: “We are delighted to see Mr. “Mr Money is a handsome horse, and I fully expect that he will pass that on to his ponies. With his talent and pedigree, we are anticipating great things from Money’s descendants.”

The foal is the first pony in Road to Riches, bred by Katharine Brady Sutphin.

Mr. Money, 6-year-old son of Gold Coins get out Tiznow winner Plenty O’ Toole, had his strongest campaign in 3rd place as he won four bets in a row over 20 lengths. His record begins with an extended 5 1/4 win in the Pat Day Mile Stakes presented by LG&E and KU (G3). He continued with a 6 1/2 length win in Matt Winn Stakes (G3), a 1/2 length 1/2 win in the Indiana Derby (G3), and then a six length win in the West Virginia Derby (G3) . He just failed 1st grade with a cut Math Wizard in the Pennsylvania Derby (G1), in which he defeated the winner of the Preakness Stakes (G1) War of Wills . Mr Money won six of his 18 starts and made $1,360,430.

Mr. Money topped this year with an advertising fee of $4,000.
