LIV Golf League announced the final four-team roster on Monday and Phil Mickelson‘s HyFlyers GC is going through a changeover with the lap set to begin its second season this week.
Mickelson’s lineup has 2 new members joining holdover Cameron Tringale: three-time PGA Tour champion Brendan Steele And James Piotwho won the US Amateur Championship in 2021 and switched to LIV Golf after leaving Michigan State last year.
Steele and Piot substitutes Bernd Wiesberger And Matthew Wolff on Mickelson’s team. Wiesberger joins Martin Kaymer‘s Cleeks GC and Wolff are part of Brooks Koepka‘s Smash GC this year.
Bubba Watson‘s RangeGoats GC added a DP World Tour star Thomas Pieter, who is ranked 35th in the world. Watson’s group also includes Harold Varner III And Taylor Gooch, who helped 4Aces win the team championship last year. Watson did not play last season while recovering from an injury.
Kevin Na‘s Iron Heads GC also features two new players: former PGA Tour winner Danny Lee And Scott Vincentwho played for four LIV Golf teams last season.
Dean of Burmesterthis season’s two-time DP World Tour winner and PGA Tour rookie, is the latest addition to Louis OosthuizenStinger GC. Each of the four players on Oosthuizen’s team are from South Africa; grace Branden and won the Masters 2011 Charl Schwartzel are others.
Eight other LIV teams were announced earlier this month.

Hudson Swafford, who played most of last season for Niblicks GC (now RangeGoats GC), announced on Sunday that he will miss the entire second season of LIV Golf because of a hip injury. Swafford has won the PGA Tour three times, including the 2022 American Express.
Swafford wrote in an Instagram post: “I have been struggling with a hip injury that has reduced my on-court performance. “After consulting with a specialist, I was unfortunately advised that the best option for optimal recovery was to proceed with surgery.”
LIV season begins at Mayakoba in Mexico on Friday.
