Final Fantasy XVI Japanese voice cast revealed
Square Enix Reveals Japanese Voice Cast for Final Fantasy XVIThe upcoming game in the longstanding series. Final Fantasy XVI The player takes control of Clive Rosfield, a young nobleman seeking revenge after a tragedy befell his family, involving powerful mythological summons known as Eikons. Japanese voice actors for Final Fantasy XVI includes Yuma Uchida as the young Clive Rosfield. He is known for other roles such as Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu KaisenOil tenders in Fate/Great Orderand Rock Howard in King of Fighting series. Yūya Uchida will voice the adult version of Clive Rosfield. As a member of Haiyuza Theater Company, he previously voiced the Violent Monster Galgali in chainsaw man.
Natsumi Fujiwara as Joshua Rosfield, Clive’s younger brother and Commander of the Phoenix. She previously worked on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind voiced the young Giorno Giovanna and Abigail Jones in Great pretender. Megumi Han voices Clive and Joshua’s childhood friend, Jill Warrick. She played the role of Eunie in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Cidolfus Telamon, the embodiment of Cid in this game, is voiced by Hiroshi Shirokuma. He previously voiced Cervantes de Leon in Soulcalibur VI.

Other additional voices include Yasuhiro Mamiya as Hugo Kupka (Ruler of Titan), Akari Higuchi as Benedikta Harman (Ruler of Garuda), Yuichi Nakamura as Dion Lesage (Ruler of Bahamut) and Gotaro Tsunashima as Barnabas Tharmr (Ruler of Odin).
Final Fantasy XVI will release on June 23, 2023 for PS5. It will be a timed exclusivity for six months. After the specified exclusivity period, it may be available on other platforms, similar to Final Fantasy VII Remake.
