Square Enix has revealed the price of its Masterline Final Fantasy VI statue from Prime 1 Studio. A 1/6 scale statue of Terra riding on Magitek armor will cost a whopping 1,485,000 yen, or $11,500 or 10,694 euros. Pre-orders for the statue in Japan will increase on April 25, 2022, 11 a.m. Japan time, through a special program. Square Enix store page. The statue will ship in Japan on July 28, 2023.
Prime 1 Studio is producing the statue under the supervision of Final Fantasy concept artist Yoshitaka Amano. At 1/6 scale, the statue features a very detailed Terra (or Tina) image riding on top of Magitek armor. The statue is based on an earlier concept design for Final Fantasy VI that Amano drew on during development. In a newly uploaded video, Amano himself discusses the design of the statue and his feelings towards Final Fantasy VI.
At 1,485,000 yen per statue, it is the most expensive statue in the Masterline line to date.

Furthermore, production will be limited to a total of 600 statues worldwide, of which 150 are exclusive to buyers in Japan. Square Enix notes that pre-orders will end once 600 units are sold. It also states that the order limit for each region may vary depending on the stock. Square Enix will announce more information on pricing and availability in regions outside of Japan at a later date. It’s unclear if this means pre-order dates will vary by region.

Before that, Prime 1 Studios also released a series of Masterline NieR: Automata The object has 2B, 9S and A2. Likewise, the statues have a high attention to detail and also come in various costume variations.
Pre-order for Masterline Final Fantasy VI the statue will open in Japan starting April 25, 2022, at 11 a.m. Japan Time (April 23, 7 p.m. PST/April 24, 4 a.m. CEST).
