In Radio Mog, FFXIV Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida said that information regarding future updates that will eventually lead to patch 7.0 will be revealed at the end of February 2022. Additionally, he also mentioned that Thancred and Krile will become prominent characters in the upcoming story updates. Yoshida also noted that there will be some powerful updates to come FFXIV leading to patch 7.0. However, he did not specify what that could be or when players can expect to see the 7.0 update.
The Mog Radio broadcast also introduces some developer details about the main NPCs appearing in Endwalker expansion. The broadcast was about four and a half hours long. It showcases player-submitted screenshots during breaks between individual segments. It is immediately available to watch through a hosted broadcast on YouTube. However, it is currently only available in Japanese. It does not have English subtitle options.
At the beginning of January 2021, Square Enix launched FFXIV Update 6.05. This patch involves the inclusion of new Savage raid content. In addition, you can purchase new armor pieces through the update. These include the Tomestone device.
