The US Food and Drug Administration has asked Equine Podiatry Solutions to change the language on one of its websites and on social media claiming that desmosphyrine is an FDA-approved drug to blepharitis treatment.

The letter goes on to cite several examples where the FDA was concerned about desmosphyrine’s depiction as an FDA-approved drug.
The letter asks the company to investigate the cause of any violations and prevent them from recurring or from occurring.
