Koei Tecmo is released information about the rewards you will be able to get if you buy a premium box Fatal Frame 4: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. The Japanese price for the regular game is JPY 6,380 (about $47.80) and the premium box will cost JPY 12,080 ($90.55). This price is for the Nintendo Switch version of the game (and you’ll get a physical copy).
For those who for some reason don’t want the game to actually come with a box, you can get a version with only additional merchandise. With that option, it will cost JPY 5,700 ($42.70). This may be because some people prefer digital copies of the game. At the same time, the box only seems to include the Switch version. So those who don’t have a console or who want to play it on something else can skip that version.
The items included in the premium box (outside the game) are:
- Official documentary (including a short novel)
- Original soundtrack CD + serial code for over 150 tracks including those from the CD
- Delete files (2)
Please note additionally, you may hear noise in the audio when listening soundtrack. This is not a problem with your path or your device. They are just part of the music.
Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows PC via Steam on March 9, 2023. You will be able to get the physical version for Nintendo Switch and PS4. The Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse the premium box (with the game) will only come with the Nintendo Switch version.
