Exercise Vigilance: British troops participate in cold weather training with the armed forces of Sweden and Finland | UK News


The British Army has participated in the exercise Oscillation Vigilance, an exercise involving the armed forces of Sweden and Finland.

The drills, aimed at enhancing “interoperability” as both Sweden and Finland want to join NATO, took place in Rovaniemi and Rovajarvi in ​​northern Finland, the defense ministry said, the defense ministry said.

The drills were held against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine, which has raised concerns across Europe about security on the continent in the face of Russian aggression.
