A UK ticket buyer has claimed a £110m EuroMillions jackpot from Friday’s draw.
Only 15 UK players have ever won a jackpot of more than £100m, with the record holder winning £195m in July.
Friday’s winning numbers are 07, 12, 13, 20 and 45 – while the Lucky Stars are 03 and 12.
Other winners of more than £100 million this year include the £195 million Grand National Lottery from the EuroMillions draw on July 19 and a £109 million jackpot from the July 4 draw. February, in which both winners remain anonymous.
Andy Carter, senior advisor to winners at The National Lottery, said: “This is absolutely incredible news and we are delighted to have received the claim.
“Our focus now is on supporting ticket buyers through the process and getting them started enjoying a truly life-changing win.”
Gloucestershire couple, Joe and Jess Thwaite celebrated their £184m win from the draw on 10 May, exactly one month before a UK ticket holder, who also chose to remain anonymous, won £54 million in the June 10 draw.
Thwaites said they are “not interested in material things” and do not intend to spend too much of their winnings on items – be it “a new car or something like that”.
Instead, they say they want to spend money on the experience.
They revealed that they have to buy suitcases to go to press conferences because they “never go on vacation”.
They say their children are excited about the prospect of a vacation and that their youngest child “always wanted to go to Hawaii”.
“I think YouTube is to blame for that,” Thwaite said.
Meanwhile Frances Connolly, who won £115m in EuroMillions 2019, who says she’s ‘addicted to helping’ says she has giving away more than half of her £115m lottery winnings and break her budget for the next decade.
