Eubank Jr To Benn – ‘I’ll abstain for two weeks for you’
“Nobody asked you about your sex drive and what you would do, man.” Conor Benn tells Chris Eubank Jr in a strange and amusing exchange before their fight.
In today’s news that you didn’t know you needed, Eubank Jr told us how much time out of the bedroom it takes to prepare for potential competitors.
In the clip, Posted by Matchroom Boxing before the 7 p.m. premiere of the head-to-head showdown, Benn looked deeply confused as his opponent talked sexually in training camp.
“Usually I go eight weeks without sex. I fasted for eight weeks. I will fast for you for two weeks [Benn].
Canelo, Golovkin – they have eight weeks. Saunders is four weeks. Conor Benn gets two. Jake Paul will have a week – so you’re not at the bottom of the barrel, but you’re close. “

Read into it what you will. It’s probably clear now why he wanted to call Jake Paul earlier this year. Or, maybe, it’s just another way to appear normal in the build-up to a big battle – one that will see two fighters reunite a rivalry their father started three decades ago.
This is the kind of talk we expect from Eubank in front of a pile of rubble he can’t possibly lose. In fact, it’s the latest in a string of claims that he won’t need to perform at 100% to beat Benn.
Many in the sport argue that he will not be able to perform at his highest level in the fight no matter what his prospects. The massive 157lbs – with hefty fines in place if it’s ignored – required him to hit a number on the scale that he says he hasn’t seen since he was 18.
Whether it is eat a bucket of finger lick chicken before losing the biggest weight of her career or discussing preparing for the single form, ‘Next Gen’ is creating hype and having fun doing it.
As he says at the end of the clip, he’s a “bad boy” – though maybe not for the next few weeks…
