Bob Arum hopes to make Devin Haney-Vasyl Lomachenko
Bob Arum appeared on the YouTube talk show, Barbershop Conversations, recently to discuss all things boxing, including a potential clash between undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney and Vasyl Lomachenko.
Both are ranked by Arum and Top Rated which can ensure a deal is done without any major hitches.

“Devin Haney has a duty to fight [George] Kambosos again. We told Devin Haney that if Lomachenko could get out of Ukraine, he would go to a harmony fight, and then if Haney beat Kambosos, Haney would fight Lomachenko. “
The former three-weight world champion recently spent time in his hometown helping on the front lines against the Russian invasion.
Several Ukrainian athletes, including current heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, have also backed.
The heavyweight champion was recently exempted from the Ukrainian army so he can leave the country and his duties. start camp to defend his title against Anthony Joshua later this month.
Lomachenko’s last fight was a one-sided defeat by former IBF lightweight champion Richard Commey last December.
Upon signing with Top Rank, Haney agreed to fight Kambosos Jr to unify his WBC belt and the Australian WBA, WBO and IBF titles.
Haney traveled Down Under and overcame the Kambosos to leave Marvel Stadium, Melbourne with all four world titles.
Thanks to the rematch clause, the undefeated American would have to win again if he were to fulfill his ambition to fight Vasyl Lomachenko and any of the division’s other elite fighters.
