ESPN reports that WBA, IBF and WBC weight class champion Errol Spence and WBO weight champion Terence Crawford “have agreed to all the key terms for a targeted non-controversial weightlifting fight.” target on November 19”. This is a significant development in negotiations that seem to have dragged on forever. Indeed, it has even been said that a war between Spence-Crawford is nearing its end past the sale deadline. The showdown won’t come too soon if the two men answer the opening bell in November. The Spence-Crawford match is seen as a battle between “Sugar” Ray Leonard and Thomas Hearns for the top spot. in the welding weight class in 1981.
It’s important to note that, despite promising reports, the match has yet to be signed, meaning the fight is not yet official. Both Crawford and Spence have turned against each other for quite some time. Every man is undefeated and extremely talented. Advertising issues are said to have kept the undisputed championship match from happening in the past. Crawford, however, has been a free agent since leaving the Top Promotion Program last year after a successful title defense against Shawn Porter. However, fans are still complaining about the slow pace of negotiations, which have been going on for a while. If a November fight is agreed, it will clearly be one of the most famous battles of 2022.
