Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial has begun in New York. Prosecutors say that convicted sex offender ex-girlfriend Jeffrey Epstein “preys vulnerable young girls, manipulates them and serves them to be sexually abused”.
Maxwell, 59, faces eight counts of sex trafficking and other counts.
The BBC spoke to Teresa Helm, who accused Epstein of sexually assaulting her at the age of 22, and described Maxwell as a “master manipulator”.
