EON's upgraded Proton 3S Center in Banting opens

EON, a wholly owned subsidiary of DRB-Hicom, today opened its refurbished Proton 3S center in Banting, Selangor. This facility previously operated solely as a showroom but now provides after-sales service and spare parts replacement for the entire 3S product line.

The RM6 million, 18,775 square meter facility can display eight Proton cars. It includes a 12,347 square meter service center equipped with 10 service bays. Customers are also benefiting from EON’s digitalization efforts with the introduction of its Workforce Management platform, which enables online appointment booking and real-time service updates. One can even book a car online via www.eon.com.my.

“The opening of the Proton EON Banting 3S Center underlines EON’s continuous focus on improving services to enhance customer satisfaction. This is in line with our position as Malaysia’s largest multi-brand auto dealership,” said EON CEO Akkbar Danial, who is also DRB-Hicom’s automotive distribution director.

“The new and refurbished showroom will enable us to enhance the customer experience, while its strategic location will make the center accessible to the people of Banting and surrounding areas Our 3S is very convenient, whether it is for new car purchases or for after-sales service,” he added.

Located along Jalan Suasa opposite Econsave, EON’s Proton 3S center is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays and public holidays. The service center’s operating hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
