England vs France live update: Harry Kane scores equalizer
The World Cup 2022 continues Saturday on FOX with England fight France at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar during the final quarter-finals of the tournament.
England, led by the captain Harry Kaneis aiming to reach the semi-finals of the second World Cup in a row, but Les Bleus – and stop unstoppable Kylian Mbappe – is demonstrating the UK’s best performance claim.
In the opposite direction, the defending World Cup champion France is expected to participate. Italy and Brazil as the only country in World Cup history to win back-to-back tournaments. Going into Saturday, France has won its past 11 World Cup matches.
The winner will come forward to play Marocdefeated Portugal earlier on Saturday, in Wednesday’s semi-final.

France forward Olivier Giroud did not hold back as he soon reached his goal in this situation.

Minutes later, Giroud made another effort, this time with a header, but it was saved by the England keeper. jordan pickford.

midfielder Aurélien Tchouameni was the star of the early game, opening the scoring with a goal for France.

French goalkeeper Hugo lloris made important saves when England came knocking – first the defender Luke Shawthen on Kane — to keep three lions off the board entirely.
With his debut on Saturday, Lloris became the most-capped French national team player in history (143).
Meanwhile, no penalty was given for this foul on Kane as he made another play close to the net shortly after.

Kane made another shot almost half an hour later, and it was again blocked by Lloris, this time in the top right corner.
Just like that, France led 1-0 after halftime, but not before Antoine Griezmann received the first yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute.

Ousmane Dembele was shown a yellow card in the first minute of the second half, but that did not disrupt the rhythm of the French game.
Lloris keeps making one big save after another Jude Bellingham‘s shot right out of the gate.

Bukayo Saka fouled in the box early in the second half, and Kane took the penalty tottenham Lloris teammate. This is their first time fighting each other in five and a half years.
