There is reason to be some concern about the effectiveness, and perhaps complete availability, of Austin Ekeler (ankle) and Mike Williams (heel), and so we were drawn to Allen , who has 86 touchdowns (all contacts) ranked 2nd behind Ekeler among Charger weapons. It is reasonable to expect Herbert to see Allen’s way early and often.

FLEX: TE Travis Kelce, Captain ($8,600)
This is unscientific, but it’s common to see a star player stand out after a bad performance (or two). Last week, he was four goals behind and, coincidentally, his second 3-27 straight. The Chargers were so generous in their production that they capitulated and after two lousy endings, maybe it’s time for Kelce to reintroduce herself as the game’s top TE.

FLEX: RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs ($7,000)
The charger has no qualms about allowing other teams to methodically attempt to move the ball down the field of the track. Edwards-Helaire has had three solid games since returning to action following a five-game hiatus. He’s not quite the heavy pig we’d like to see, but he’s been proven to deal damage on the ground and in the air.

FLEX: WR Jalen Guyton, Charger ($4,800)
Guyton doesn’t get a lot of goals, but he’s been productive late in the game, catching the last seven passes and scoring two touchdowns in the past two weeks. If Guyton is forced to handle more snaps and/or goals with the ailing Williams, he could be ready for another solid performance.

FLEX: RB Joshua Kelley, Charger ($800)
Kelley saw 11 touchdowns in place of Ekeler, who suffered an ankle injury in Week 14. Ekeler scored a “DNP” in training scheduled for Monday and a “limited training session” ” in the Chargers Tuesday practice, so it remains to be seen if he is at full strength for Thursday’s competition.
