Employment report June 2022:
Job growth picked up at a much faster-than-expected pace in June, suggesting a key pillar of the US economy remains strong despite weaker pockets.
Nonfarm payrolls rose 372,000 for the month, better than 250,000 Dow Jones estimates and continued to be a year of strong job growth, according to Friday data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The unemployment rate was 3.6%, unchanged from May and in line with estimates.
