Welcoming a new family member can be exciting, but also stressful.
Life immediately changes when a new baby comes home, and it doesn’t just change for family members. New babies in the house also affect our pets.
Some animals adapt well to having a new brother or sister, but some struggle with change. It depends on the individual animals how they react, and some dogs are more enthusiastic about babies than others.
Boxers are one of those breeds that are known to be great with young children and affectionate with babies. NS American Kennel Club describes them, writing, “Their patience and protectiveness have earned them a reputation as a wonderful dog with children.”
Boxer Linus is the perfect example of that. A video shared by Rumble Viral shows the dog affectionately rolling around on the ground playing with his sister.
The large dog is extremely gentle but playful. He is very careful not to hurt the baby when he kisses and nudges her. It is clear that both will become BFFs when they grow up. In fact, it looks like they were!
