Eileen’s Dream set a record at the FT’s April digital sale


Fasig-Tipton’s April Digital Sale ended April 9 with 87 horses selling for $4,274,300. Selling toppers Eileen’s dream (Hip 21) set a record for a single product on a Digital platform when it sold for $660,000.

Eileen’s dream, presented with her 2024 foal curled up sold to DJ Stable to establish high water market for Fasig-Tipton Digital platform, launched March 2022. This is the mare that my father (Leonard Green) ) especially wanted. He loves his family and is excited to have a mare and a foal like this.”

The previous record on this platform belonged to the Amazonian stallion, foal for Nyquistist who sold for $420,000 to KatieRich Farms from the consignment of Ballysax Bloodstock, agent for the Estate of Glen Todd, in the Final Phase of the Glen Todd Dispersal in September 2022.

“We had extremely active bidding throughout the sale, especially as it closed this afternoon,” said Leif Aaron, director of digital sales at Fasig-Tipton. “The clearance rate is over 90%. We are very pleased with the results for our buyers and sellers.”

Overall, 87 of the 94 horses offered sold for $4,274,300, averaging $49,129, with 20 selling for $50,000 or more. The average is $20,000. Six hundred and seventy potential buyers registered to bid. The clearance rate is 92.5%.
