Guided by Francisco Arrieta and coached by Chris Hartman, Edge to Edge broke out well to create a clear advantage after a quarter mile at: 23.37. Rated as a favorite of even money, he maintained that clear advantage at every call point on his way to completing six laps spanning 1:09.65 on the fast track.
Bred in Kentucky by Yeamans Racing Stable, the Edge to Edge won six of 24 starts and earned $377,385.
