Apple has been busy updating most of its bestsellers – everything from Iphonearrive AirPods Proarrive Apple Watcharrive iPad and iPad Pro.

There’s so much new to get you excited, ready to empty your wallet.

That said, there are still Apple products that you should avoid, either because they are being refreshed or they won’t be updated as Apple is phasing them out.

List of “Naughty”:

  • Small iPad: Over a year old, it’s hard to justify the $500 starting price here, unless you really want a smaller form factor.
  • Mac Mini: The first Mac computer of the M1 and probably suitable for M2 early upgrade. Keep that in mind if you’re thinking of buying one right now.
  • MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch M1 MacBook: Now that the M2 chip has landed, it’s safe to bet that these laptops are currently on loan.
  • Mac Pro: With the transition to Apple Silicon underway, this huge monetary investment makes no sense at this point. Avoid this big time unless you really have to replace a broken machine.

So much power in a small box. In fact, this is a workstation in the form of not much larger than the Mac Mini.

You can choose between M1 Max and M1 Ultra (unless you’re dealing with extreme workloads that require massive GPU capacity, you’ll be fine with the M1 Max’s offerings) and can spend anything from $2,000 to $4,000 on this hardware.

Combined with Studio Monitor, this is a complete monster of a system.
