Wyatt’s mother, Linda, says he’s always been a “sensitive guy,” but when he lost his baby sister, he fell into a spiral of depression. He mourns the loss to the point of hiding in a closet, not knowing what to do with himself. It broke his mother’s heart.
Linda decided to adopt another dog that could help Wyatt. They drove for three hours to meet a puppy named Lenny to see if he and Wyatt would get along. When Lenny got out of the kennel, the dogs’ connection was instant. As Linda put it, Lenny is “a ray of sunshine.”
Meeting each other is Wyatt’s best medicine. His sulk turned into pure joy! Lenny is happy to get out of her shelter and into her new home, and Wyatt can’t wait to show her new brother his toys. The pups immediately joined a play session that brought a smile to Linda’s face. Their bond is very beautiful to see! To experience their happy union, check out the video below!
