Hackers have taken over Disneyland’s official Instagram account. Here’s what happened after that.
Official Instagram Disneyland’s account was hacked on Thursday! The hacker ran an Instagram account for an hour where they posted abusive content. However, the page was restored shortly after hack effort. Disneyland’s Instagram account has over 8 million followers. One report by abc10 shows that the hackers posted a series of Photograph include memes and selfies, possibly of suspected hackers. The Online The criminals posted four posts and one story on Instagram Live. These posts are signed by a mysterious person named “David Do”, and one of the posts is linked to a personal Instagram account with an avatar of the same person appearing in the hacker’s selfies.
Posts shared by hackers had clear language, while others appeared to make joking references to COVID-19, the report suggested. The posts contained two other Instagram accounts, however, it remains unclear whether these accounts were involved in the hack.
Not only Instagram, hackers have also hijacked Disneyland’s Facebook account, but it is not clear what kind of content was posted there, if any.
Report abc10 shared one of the captions of the post by the hacker, “I’m a super hacker here to get revenge on Disneyland. I’m tired of all this —— – The Disney employees mocked me for having a —–. WHO IS JEROME PERSON now?” In a similar fashion, another post by the hacker used bad language to mock Covid. The caption reads, “Think about that time I invented covid and blamed it on wuhan….David Do. #Notjerome Sup Covid brotha.”
One of the Disneyland officials told The Sun in an emailed statement, “Disneyland Resort’s Facebook and Instagram accounts were compromised early this morning. We quickly worked to remove the reprehensible content. , secure our accounts, and our security team is investigating.”
