Airline loyalty program promotions (January 2024)
Airline loyalty programs can offer discounts on trips on certain dates, the chance to earn more miles for future travel and deals to rack up points toward elite status. Some of the active promotions for frequent flyer programs include:
Bonus MQDs on select Delta flights
Delta SkyMiles members can earn up to 20% more Medallion Qualification Dollars toward elite status on trips booked to select Pacific Northwest destinations this winter when you enroll. Destinations included in this deal include Seattle; Portland, Oregon; Spokane, Washington; and Boise.
Delta SkyMiles members earn 10% more MQDs on Main Cabin tickets and 20% more MQDs on premium-cabin tickets, including first class and Comfort+.
- The trip must be booked before Feb. 1.
- Travel must be completed between Feb. 2 and March 15.
- Destinations vary based on the airport of origin.

Sixt rental car status match
While this isn’t exactly an airline loyalty program promotion, Sixt partners with multiple airline programs (including American Airlines AAdvantage, Delta SkyMiles and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club) and hotel programs (including Marriott Bonvoy and Accor Live Limitless). The rental car company is offering to match elite status with its partners.

- Sixt is allowing a status match to its Sixt Platinum and Sixt Gold elite tiers. Diamond, its third tier, is invitation-only.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (January 2024)
Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays, ways to earn extra points and deals at various properties. Here are some of the active promotions:
Bonus points offers for targeted IHG One Rewards members
Select IHG One Rewards members can earn either 8,000 bonus points for every four nights of a stay or 2,000 bonus points for every two nights of a stay, depending on which offer you’re targeted for.
- This is a targeted offer, so some IHG One Rewards members may not be eligible.
- You must register for the promotion. You can only register once and must register for the promotion you’re selected for.
- Bonus points are applicable to trips completed from Feb. 1 to March 31.
- Preregistration runs until Jan. 31. You can register for the bonus through the end of the promotion (March 31) if you didn’t register in the preregistration period.
Discount for select IHG One Rewards members on reward nights in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America
Targeted IHG One Rewards members can earn a 20% discount on reward nights at select resorts in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.
- This is a targeted offer, so some IHG One Rewards members may not be eligible.
- Book and stay by March 31.
Marriott Bonvoy bonus points on select Courtyard stays
Marriott Bonvoy members can earn 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points per night on any night of the week at participating Courtyard by Marriott hotels.
- The trip must be booked by April 3.
- The stay must be completed by April 3 at a participating Courtyard by Marriott hotel.
- You must apply the offer’s promotional code at booking to redeem. The code can be found here.
Triple reward points on Accor Live Limitless stays in North and Central America
Accor Live Limitless loyalty members can earn triple the points on stays at participating hotels in destinations across North and Central America.
- The trip must be booked before April 30.
- The stay must be completed at any participating hotel in North and Central America before April 30.
- You must enroll through an Accor Live Limitless account and register on this page.

Credit card promotions (January 2024)
Credit card issuers sometimes offer deals and discounts for certain cardholders on everything from airline travel to restaurant dining. We rounded up some credit card promotions that are active now:
Amex Platinum card offer with Hilton hotels in Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America
Those who hold The Platinum Card® from American Express can earn a one-time statement credit after spending a certain amount at participating Hilton properties in Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.
- Get a one-time $150 statement credit by using your Amex Platinum card for at least $750 in purchases at a participating Hilton property in Mexico, the Caribbean or Latin America.
- Offer expires Feb. 15.
Amex Platinum card offer with Air Europa
Those with the Amex Platinum card can earn cash back on flights booked on Air Europa.
- Spend $2,000, get $400 back.
- Offer expires Feb. 29.
- Only available on the Amex Platinum.
American Express discount on Panera’s Ultimate Sip Club
All U.S. American Express cardmembers can receive 50% off an annual subscription to Panera’s Unlimited Sip Club for $59.99 plus tax (usually $119.99 plus tax.)
- Panera’s Unlimited Sip Club includes one year of coffee, teas, fountain drinks and more.
- Offer expires Feb. 29.
- Open to all U.S. American Express consumer, business and corporate cardmembers who are not current members of the Unlimited Sip Club.

Amex Platinum cardmembers can get cash back on minimum spending on a stay at Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy.
