One of the best travel deals of the fall has been extended by three months.
River AmaRoad of Water announced on Wednesday that it will offer customers a free land cruise worth thousands of dollars if they book an excursion at the end of March.
The offer is an extension of a Limited time promotion The river cruise operator started in October which was originally scheduled to end on December 31.
Under the terms of the offer, AmaWaterways customers can receive a complimentary pre- or post-cruise overland tour package as a cruise add-on when they book select Egypt, Mekong and Europe river tour scheduled to take place in 2023.

In a new feature of the offer, passengers planning to travel in groups booking five or more cabins on a 2024 trip will also be eligible for free tours in some cases when arranged. their trip through a travel agent.
To be eligible for the extended offer, pre-booking must be made by March 31.

- One three night tour to Lake Como, Italy. Worth $1,440 per person, the tour is available as a free add-on to some Rhine river cruises.
- One Budapest two night tour, Hungary. Worth $840 per person, the tour is available as a free add-on to select seven-night Danube trips.
- One Zurich and Lucerne four night tour in Switzerland includes two nights in each city. Worth $1,680 per person, the tour is offered free of charge as an add-on to some seven-night Rhine river cruises.
- One three night tour in Prague In the Czech Republic. Worth $1,320 per person, the tour is available as a free add-on to select 7-night Danube and Rhine river cruises.
In total, there are 15 different add-on tours offered for free that can be combined with various itineraries as part of the promotion. Other destinations where add-ons are offered for free include Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris, Vienna, Bangkok, and Dubai.
The promotion offers savings of up to $3,800 per couple, depending on which additional tours are booked.
Each overland tour package includes hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, transfer and porter service between hotel and ship, as well as city tours and experiences.
In a related promotion, AmaWaterways is also offering customers a 10% savings on the cost of an excursion when they book a second excursion in a row in 2023, creating a connecting trip next.
AmaWaterways is just one of many travel routes launch attractive offers for 2023 trips this month as the industry enters the critical booking phase of “wave season”. Starting in January, this period usually brings an uptick in cruise bookings.
