Deal alert: Fly to Europe from various US cities for $432 round-trip
This is a great time to book a trip to Europe. If you were waiting for the price to drop then your patience has now been rewarded.
We’re seeing some great discounts on flights to some of the hottest destinations in Europe, such as Milan, Copenhagen, London and Madrid. The travel window is also quite wide, with promotional prices for travel from May 2024 until early 2025. A number of different airlines have reduced prices so there’s plenty of choice.
Prices are quite volatile. During our search, prices on some routes increased while others decreased. So search far and wide and always have flexible travel plans to get the best prices.
Promotional fares are for economy class tickets. Whether or not you get free baggage depends on the airline. For example, with American Airlines, British Airways, and Delta Air Lines, carrying luggage won’t cost you anything. Paying to check your bag will cost you between $75 and $100 each way.

You can find great deals to London from New York City in May. Delta has several direct flights from JFK to LGW for as little as $432 round-trip.
How good a deal is that? According to Google Flights, that route typically sells for more than $750.
American Airlines and British Airways both have many direct flights from the West Coast to London. This American cruise from LAX to LHR is available in May, November and December for $587 round-trip.
There are also good discounts on flights to the Scottish Highlands. British Airways has round-trip fares from SFO to INV in the winter for under $500. That’s a great price.

Routes from Los Angeles to Madrid in November are also significantly discounted. This nonstop route from LAX to MAD on Iberia costs just $474.
Want to spend autumn in Italy? If you live in New York City, you can fly there round-trip in October via SAS for just $439. It was the best month we’ve seen for flights to Italy’s fashion hub.
Remember that this is a SAS Go Light fare, the airline’s name for economy class, so you’ll get a free carry-on bag when you book this cruise. However, if you’re planning on shopping in Milan, know that checking your luggage will cost you $75 each way.
You can also fly from JFK to KRK on Finnair this fall for just $442 roundtrip. That’s another great discount.
Pacific Northwest travelers also have plenty of good options with this sale. We found many round-trip flights to Dublin for under $500 in the fall and winter, including nonstop travel on Aer Lingus.
There are also discounted flights to Denmark. For example, this Icelandair journey from Denver to Copenhagen in early December costs just $464 round-trip — a great price for this route during the holiday season. You’ll get a free carry-on bag, but try to pack light as you’ll have to pay $100 each way to check your bag.
