Dave Chappelle is able to meet with transgender Netflix workers and different members of the transgender neighborhood, however warned that he will not be “bending to anyone’s calls for.”
The 48-year-old comic posted a stand-up video on Monday, Oct. 25, wherein he expressed willingness to satisfy with transgender people following backlash to his current Netflix particular.
On the present, he advised the viewers, “It has been stated within the press that I used to be invited to talk to the transgender workers of Netflix and I refused,” Chappelle said. “That’s not true. If they’d invited me I might have accepted it. Though, I’m confused about what we’d be talking about.”
He continued, “I stated what I stated, and boy, I heard what you stated. My God, how may I not? You stated you need a protected working surroundings at Netflix. It looks like I am the one one that may’t go to the workplace anymore.”
