Cowboys vs. Saints Fantasy Football Starts ‘You Sit’ Em in Week 13 ‘Thursday Night Football’

“Thursday Night Football” is back to kick off another week of fantasy football. Week 13 brings an exciting game between the Cowboys and Saints in the New Orleans (8:20 p.m. ET, Fox, NFL Network, Amazon Prime Video). As always, you want to make the right decision at the start, sit down to decide, by deploying players who can give you a nice lead on Sunday or avoid players who are bound to break. production in the beginning.

The Cowboys offense to restore the widest of recordings (Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup), while the Saints offense is still not quite ready to restore the 1-2 punch familiar when running backwards (Alvin Kamara, Mark Ingram).

ADD TNF: DK . lineup | FD lineup | Update Cooper

Cooper (COVID), Lamb (concussion) and backrunner Ezekiel Elliott (knee) should all move well, while wide receiver Cedrick Wilson (shoulder) should exit the formation. The Saints are warming up Taysom HIll (leg) in midfield, hoping to get an additional boost from returning Mark Ingram (knee) with RB Alvin Kamara (knee) to miss a game. another match.

Here’s a full breakdown of TNF’s ’em sitting’ start, including a few DFS lineup suggestions for FanDuel and DraftKings:

WEEK 13 EFFECTS: Sleepers | Selling body | Start with ’em, sit’ em

Cowboys: Who to start or sit in on Thursday night fantasy football

Start: QB Dak Prescott

Rayne Dakota rebounded well from a head-to-head header against the Chiefs, finishing with a QB3 in week 12 losing Thursday afternoon to the Raiders with 375 yards and two TDs. He finished below the top 10 in just four games. Hope he lights it up with his dynamic trio back. The Saints’ peak pass is down to Marcus Davenport, and their secondary coverage isn’t as good as Marshon Lattimore. Another thing in Dak’s favor is the fact that the Saints are strong at running away, so the Cowboys will need to throw often to win.

WEEK 13 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Start: RB Ezekiel Elliott | Sitting: RB Tony Pollard

There were early reports coming out of Thanksgiving that the Cowboys were thinking about giving Zeke a load-management break so his knee would be completely healthy. But without a single short week, he trained fully. Even though the game is tough, the Cowboys will stick with feeding Elliott and making sure he’s in on the ramblings. The second half match scenario could also work in his favor. The poll scored special teams last week for decent RB2/flex numbers, but that’s the exception to the rule despite recent favorable results. When faced with a Saints defense that allows 3.2 yards per take, it’s hard to get past Pollard without knowing exactly how many touches he or Zeke will get.

Start: WR Amari Cooper

Cooper missed two games and is expected to return. He’s admitted he’s not feeling great post-COVID, but the issue here is also Lattimore’s coverage, as CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup would see coverage much more favorable. There are games where Dak doesn’t press the ball for Cooper, and he’s only had four WR3 shots or better all season, believe it or not. You might have a hard time starting him in the deeper leagues, but in some shallow leagues and all DFS you should go in a different direction.

WEEK 13 USING DFS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo!

Start: WR CeeDee Lamb

Lamb should be back well rested and ready to hit the big numbers in the regular PJ Williams draw. Lattimore may be above him when out and about, but Lamb is simply a more skilled and versatile collector than the current Cooper. Lamb will return to lion state and march to a big night on the Holy Court with a good hit at least once TD.

Start: WR Michael Gallup

Gallup exploded to #1 in Week 12, without Cooper and Lamb to help. He hit a healthy 30 goals in his four games and finished WR2 strong last week. With Cooper not at full power and Gallup having a more favorable match against Paulson Adebo, it feels like a game for him and Lamb to dominate production and goals from Dak.

WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

Sitting: TE Dalton Schultz

Dawson Knox, with his similar-sounding name, came off the bench in two TD games against the Saints last week, but he’s been treated like a hybrid slot receiver to the aged and injured former Cowboy Cole Beasley . Schultz is not that type of player and won’t be much needed with his wide wings locked and filled with Dak. He’s a TD-or-bust player. The Saints only allow a total of the last three TDs.

Warm-up: Cowboys D / ST

The Cowboys had enough players with Trevon Diggs and Micah Parson leading the way to get some sacks and snacks. New Orleans’ attack is hurting, and Taysom Hill will have difficulty in clear passing situations.

Start: K Greg Zuerlein

The Cowboys haven’t always been as good in the red area as they should be, and Zuerlein seems to be back on track after some slumping mid-season and one missed game. He was an easy K1 in seven games, and had no concerns about the weather in the Superdome.

WEEK 13 DFS: Best value | The best stack | Squad Builder

Saints: Who to start or sit in on Thursday night fantasy football

Start: QB Taysom Hill

Hill, as a starter for Drew Brees four times last season, averaged these numbers: 209 yards over, 10 dashes and 52 yards forward. He also aggregated eight TDs, twice per game to be exact. He averaged nearly 26 fantasy points per game in TD tournaments passing by six. He’s a cross between Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson thanks to his high running floor. He helped his career serving as an underrated bot laner when needed.

Start: RB Mark Ingram

Ingram will restart the game for Kamara (knee) when he returns from a knee injury and could complete that against Hill in run and pass games, even if Hill could be locator for Vulture TDs from him. The Cowboys’ defense was solid but was mixed up against Alabama’s Josh Jacobs product last week. However, you cannot expand for Tony Jones Jr.

Start: WR Tre’Quan Smith | Sit: The Rest of WR and TE

He was a good WR3/flex player for four straight games until catching four balls at 31 yards against the Bills’ tough pass defense. The Cowboys could be battered in the secondary, and Smith is Hill’s most reliable target. Everything else went smoothly without Michael Thomas and now Adam Trautman. Hill should also drop big time pass volume from Trevor Siemian.

Sitting: K Brett Maher

In real time, it would be politically incorrect to start replacing the newest Wil Lutz.

Sitting: Holy D / ST

There will be no Fat Thursday here. “Laisse la Defense s’asseoir!”

Cowboys vs. Saints: One-game FanDuel

  • MVP (1.5X): QB Dak Prescott $16,500
  • AnyFLEX: WR CeeDee Lamb $13,000
  • AnyFLEX: RB Mark Ingram $12,000
  • AnyFLEX: WR Michael Gallup $10,500
  • AnyFLEX: QB Taysom Hill $7,000

Are we making the most of the fact that Hill is undervalued as an original QB and we save a few dollars knowing Kamara will miss the game? Yes we are. On the other hand, we also get Dak and his wide receivers with the best matches. Boom!

Cowboys vs. Saints: DraftKings Showdown lineup

  • $14,400
  • FLEX: QB Dak Prescott $11,800
  • FLEX: WR CeeDee Lamb $10,000
  • FLEX: WR Michael Gallup $6,800
  • FLEX: WR Tre’Quan Smith $5,600
  • FLEX: WR Noah Brown $600

This is doubling QB and creating a massive Dak stack and a Hill combo with his best receiver. Hill would also run more than expected without Kamara.
