Airspace closures over the Middle East caused flights to be grounded and diverted on Saturday as Iran launch drones towards Israeli.

United Airlines, which resumed service to Tel Aviv early last month after suspending Israeli flights following a Hamas attack in October, canceled its Newark to Tel Aviv flight on Saturday after Israel closed its airspace . Emirates airline has canceled its Dubai-Amman flight scheduled for Sunday. Air France’s Israel service was canceled on Sunday and British Airways canceled two flights to Tel Aviv on Sunday and canceled one flight to Amman. Lufthansa also canceled service to Israel.
