Pakistan table tennis player Mohammad Rizwan on Wednesday celebrated his 30th birthday. Rizwan, who has enjoyed a lot of success with the bat in 2021, was also named T20I men’s player of the year for his exploits with the willow. The 30-year-old also made a successful debut in England county cricket, where he shared a dressing room with the Indian smash Cheteshwar Pujara. Both Pujara and Rizwan made their debuts for Sussex in the same game, and the former had a special birthday wish for the athlete.

Rizwan recently praised Pujara, saying he looks forward to having the focus and concentration of his team-mates at Sussex.
“He’s a very nice guy and loves life. And his focus and attention too… If you have a chance to learn something, you should do it,” Rizwan told Crickwick.
“In terms of concentration and I’ve said this to the coaches here as well. In my whole career the players with the most concentration have been Younis bhai, Fawad Alam and his (of Pujara).
Rizwan will now be featured in the upcoming three-match ODI series against the West Indies, starting June 8.

On the other hand, Pujara has scored for two centuries and twice as many hundreds in five games for Sussex this season.
The veteran tennis player, who was dropped from the Indian team in the Home Test series against Sri Lanka, has been recalled for the upcoming Singles Test against England.
